Hello world!

In the immortal words of John Denver, “I’m leaving on a jet plane, don’t know when I’ll be back again…”  but in this case, there’s no hating of the going.

Some sadness to be sure at leaving family and friends but there will be visiting to and fro – and certainly some comfort in knowing I can come back if it doesn’t work out.

Regardless, I’m going to give Mother’s World Journey as good a crack as I can, and document it along the way. That’s for my pleasure to review in my dotage, and for yours, my family, friends, and other readers of such things, to find out where I am, what I am doing, and what’s most recently caught my attention
